Tyre wear & depth

Tyre wear directly impacts both the performance and safety of your tyre. Reduced tread depth leads to poorer grip and increased stopping distances, especially in wet conditions. To ensure optimal safety, regularly check your tyre tread depths and replace them if the treads are low or the tyre is displaying signs of wear and damage. Use a tread depth gauge to ensure your tyre is above the legal minimum tread depth of 1.6mm

Tyre pressure

Maintaining the correct tyre pressure is essential for both your safety and tyre longevity. Proper pressure reduces the risk of losing control of your vehicle and also prevents premature wear and damage. Tyre pressure can drop due to punctures, natural air loss through the rubber and temperature fluctuations, so it’s important to check regularly. You can find the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle in the user manual, on a plaque located on the driver’s door sill, or on the inside of the fuel filler cap.
